Ted Stearn

Ted Stearn is another Futurama alumnus I had the pleasure of working with. A graphic novelist featured in "The Best American Comics 2009", Ted's work features really unique shapes and impeccable line work, all working in unison with his great storytelling to craft hilarious bits of fiction. Ted is a fantastic storyboard artist, and I learned a lot sitting next to him for a couple of years. Check out his IGNATZ award nominated graphic novel Fuzz and Pluck!

  1. Hi Dave,

Nice idea for a blog. Interesting to see all the different takes on the Beatles from various artists. There's something about them being highly influential as well as visually distinctive that makes so many artists try their hand at drawing or painting them. I've done a lot of them over the years myself.

Not many are handy on my computer at the moment, but I thought I'd send the two that currently are. I hope you like them.

  2. Wow, those are great drawings! I totally agree about their influence on different artists; I've done a bunch of drawings over the years, almost none of which I've liked, but I sure love seeing how everyone else approaches the challenge. Thanks for sharing!
